want to know what protects your work?
The difference between cheap framing and proper care only shows up in ten, twenty years — when one work still lives and another has yellowed. That's why we only keep what's actually worth working with.
Larson-Juhl, Wohlleb, Dantik
We work with three moulding suppliers — each with a different character, together making over a thousand profiles. We'll find a frame that suits your piece: from natural wood and hand-gilded finishes to minimalist aluminium.
Larson-Juhl
International leader, broad range of wood and aluminium, museum standard.
Wohlleb
Classic and design profiles, traditional European production.
Dantik
Ornamental, hand-finished frames for classic interiors.
We keep the full sample books in the studio. We choose a profile by holding it directly against your piece — not from a catalogue.
Tru Vue
UV radiation is the main culprit behind fading. That's why we use Tru Vue UV-filtering glass as standard — the same kind American museums use. We pick from two levels depending on how rare the piece is and how much light falls on it.
UV70 — Conservation Clear
Filters 70 % of UV radiation. Suitable for reproductions, posters and works in rooms without direct sunlight.
Most common choiceUV99 — Museum Glass
Filters 99 % of UV radiation, anti-reflective coating. For originals, valuable prints, historical documents. The glass is practically invisible.
Museum standardDuring the consultation we'll hold both panes against your piece so you see the difference live. Then we'll advise which level of protection actually makes sense for you.
Archival boards from Austria
The mat is the part that literally touches your piece. If it's made of acidic cardboard, it slowly destroys it — yellowing, foxing, paper turning brittle. That's why we only use acid-free archival boards from Austria: pH-neutral, lignin-free, stable for decades.
100% acid-free
pH-neutral core and surface. No degradation, even after decades.
Lignin-free
Lignin causes yellowing and brittleness. Our boards contain none.
200+ shades
Wide palette for precise tuning to the piece. Single, double and fabric finishes.
