How much does framing cost?
Price depends on the size, the frame profile, the mat and the type of glass. Custom framing starts from CZK 480; a full gallery-grade mount with museum glass typically falls in the CZK 2,000–5,000 range. You can estimate the price in the configurator — the final quote we prepare during a free consultation.
How long does framing take?
A standard order takes 7–14 working days from confirmation. Express in 3 days by arrangement (surcharge). Museum-grade mounting or restoration we schedule individually based on complexity.
How far is it from České Budějovice?
25 minutes by car to Přísečná near Český Krumlov. Parking right at the studio, no fees. For larger orders we offer pickup and delivery — including hanging the framed piece at your place in Č. Budějovice and the surrounding area.
What do you frame besides paintings?
Photographs, prints, posters, jerseys and memorabilia, embroidery, hand-painted works on canvas and paper, collages, certificates, maps. We also make custom mirrors and standalone matting. Non-standard sizes and shapes welcome.
Can I see what the frame will look like on my piece first?
Yes. The configurator has an AR preview — point your phone at the wall and see the exact size and frame style in your real space. During an in-person consultation we then hold actual frame and mat samples against the work itself, so you see the result live.
Do you do framing online — without an in-person visit?
Yes. You fill in the configurator, we confirm the details by email or phone. You can ship the work by post or courier (insured shipment recommended), we frame it and send it back. For valuable pieces and larger sizes we recommend a personal consultation — it's always free.
