Rescuing old frames and mounts. Regilding, retouching, replacing acid materials and cleaning. We give the work back its dignity and safety.

Which service fits my piece best?
Depends on the medium (oil painting × paper × textile × photograph) and the value of the work. Rarer pieces need museum glass and archival matting; decorative pieces are fine with standard. The configurator walks you through the types — and in a free consultation we finalize together: we see the piece in person and recommend the right profile and materials.
What's the price range?
Custom framing starts from CZK 480. An A3 poster in a simple profile around CZK 1,000; a medium-sized painting with a mat in the CZK 2,000–4,000 range; a full gallery mount with museum glass from CZK 5,000 upwards. Estimate in the configurator, final quote after the consultation.
What does the process look like from enquiry to finished frame?
1. Enquiry by email, phone or via the configurator. 2. Consultation in the studio (free) or online — we choose the frame, mat and glass. 3. Binding quote and timeline. 4. We frame the work in Přísečná — standard 7–14 days. 5. Pickup in person, courier, or delivery to ČB and the surrounding area.
Do I need one visit or multiple?
One consultation is enough for most orders — bring the piece, we choose materials, sign off the quote. Pickup as preferred: in person, courier, or delivery and hanging by arrangement. For restoration or complex mounting we schedule individually.
Will you help me decide if I'm not sure?
Yes — that's essentially what we do. The consultation is free and with no obligation. We look at the piece, the space it'll go into, and recommend a frame, mat and glass. You can touch the samples, hold them against the work and see the result live.
